Sooner or Later, Kompany Will Train Man City

Manchester

Pep Guardiola believes Vincent Kompany fit to be a manager Manchester City. Now it’s only a matter of time to wait for that to happen.

Kompany returned to his career in England since last summer, to coach Burnley who had just been relegated to the Championship. He has been a coach since 2020 when he handled Anderlecht.

Kompany’s debut in England as a manager was fairly good because he was able to top the Championship standings with a 12 point advantage over Sheffield United.

Promotional tickets to the Premier League are unlikely to escape the Clarets’ grasp and this will be an achievement for Kompany.

Not only that, Kompany can also be more confident in carrying out his profession as a manager. If his career is brilliant, Kompany is predicted to be Guardiola’s successor at City.

Guardiola believes this will happen given Kompany’s status as a club legend. Yes, Kompany played a role in bringing four Premier League titles, two FA Cup trophies and five Carabao Cups during his career at City.

“Sooner or later he will come back here. I think he is destined to be Manchester City,” he said Pep Guardiola as quoted France24.

“That’s going to happen, but I don’t know when. That’s for sure.”

“That’s just my feeling. Maybe I could be wrong, but he has the attributes to be City manager – work ethic, knowledge of football, respect, experience.”

“What he’s doing right now is difficult, but he can do it very well. He knows the club, the environment, the fans, what the people need. City is his destiny.”

Guardiola’s contract at City has two more years left, is this a sign that Kompany will replace him? Let’s wait.
