Soon you can play Red Dead Online without owning Red Dead Redemption

The online part of Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Online, has so far only been available to those who already own the main game, but this will soon be over.

Rockstar has now announced that Red Dead Online comes in an independent edition. It will be launched digitally via PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store and Steam on December 1st.

The game is sold at a discount of 75 percent until February 15, so it may be an idea to hustle around where you are interested.

For the record, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Red Dead Online will also be playable on next-generation consoles. According to Rockstar, the standalone version of Red Dead online will take up 123 GB on the hard drive.

For those who follow Rockstar news a bit, the announcement will probably not come as a big surprise. This summer announced the developer that Grand Theft Online will also be launched in a separate version during the second half of 2021.

Of other news, the developer can also state that the Bounty Hunter role in Red Dead Online next week will be an expansion with new criminals to hunt, and this week all Bounty hunter missions will also give you double the amount of experience points.
