Soon over for Tony DeAngelo in New York?

Fallen in the bad graces of Rangers head coach David Quinn, defenseman Tony DeAngelo risks ending his career elsewhere, since the New York organization placed his name on waiver on Sunday.

This is what the Sportsnet network indicated.

DeAngelo, who Quinn had left out for two games this season due to a lack of maturity in his own words, had yet hatched last year. He had 15 goals and 53 points in 68 games.

The full-back has, however, only obtained one assist in six games since the start of the campaign, while showing a -6 rating.

DeAngelo got noticed for the wrong reasons recently. He notably criticized Twitter after the company closed the account of former US President Donald Trump. He had closed his account himself, then he indicated his interest in the social network Parler, known to accept far-right comments.
