In partnership with the United States Trotting Association (USTA), LeTrot will organize an auction of French trotters bound for the United States from July 7 to 11. “This year is a firstlearns Marianne Simonnot, who works in the international service of the Trot, since this sale will take place online (with the American online sales agency Preferred Equine Online). Twenty-five trotters are registered (registration is open until June 20). There will be a pre-selection on paper, then the horses will be tried out on the track. Photos and videos will be sent. Messrs. Pierre Vercruysse and Claude Guégan, who know the American market very well, will notably give their opinion. Depending on this, the American sales agency will decide whether or not to present the trotter for sale. This operation responds, in particular, to a lack of trotters for breeding in the United States, as well as to a renewal of bloodlines.”
