In the coming months, in the district of the prefecture, the street which passes in front of the Saint-Etienne Cathedral will take the name of rue Samuel Paty the teacher beheaded by a terrorist last October in the Paris region.
In Les Carmes, the street between rue du Languedoc and place du Parlement will take the name ofalley Gisèle Halimi feminist figure and Algerian independence activist, died in July 2020.
In the Saint-Cyprien district, the square in front of the Abattoirs museum will be called esplanade Daniel Cordier, companion of the Liberation and former secretary of Jean Moulin. He passed away in November.
The Toulouse city council voted for these deliberations on January 29.
