Sony’s PlayStation Plus Anniversary Celebration: New Games, Cloud Streaming Test, and More!

It’s been a year since Sony launched new PlayStation Plus subscription plans. Today it revealed some of the games that will extend the subscription from 6/20/2023 PlayStation Plus Extra a Premium. So far it’s only 8 pieces, but everything indicates that the company will gradually reveal more.

It’s on the list now Far Cry 6 (PS4/PS5) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge (PS4/PS5), brand new Rogue Legacy 2 (PS4/PS5) Inscryption (PS4/PS5) Soulstice (PS5), Tacoma (PS4) Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (PS4) a Killing Floor 2 (PS4).

Plus it will be in Game Trial WWE 2K23 (PS4).

Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay and My Friend Peppa Pig, MX Vs. ATV Legends, The Talos Principle Deluxe Edition or ELEX II.

We also remind you of the games that you can add to your digital library during June: NBA 2K23 (PS5, PS4), Jurassic World Evolution 2 (PS5, PS4) and Trek to Yomi (PS5, PS4).

On the occasion of the first anniversary, Ser Sony boasted that is testing cloud streaming of PlayStation 5 games. These are titles from the catalog of games in the PS Plus Premium subscription, Game Trials and supported digital titles owned by the player.

Cloud streaming will be available only for PS Plus Premium and will allow you to try games from the catalog faster on PS5. It will not be necessary to download them to the console.

“We believe it’s important for Premium members to be able to play as many games as possible via cloud streaming,” said Sony CEO Nick Maquire. Currently, select PS3, PS4 and classic games can be streamed.

“We’re still in the early stages and I can’t wait to share more details with you, including a launch date,” Dodal Maquire.

All PlayStation Plus members will receive a voucher s avatary from some of the popular games that are on the PS Plus menu. The code can be used from 6/20 to 6/30.

It also includes a campaign PlayStation Stars, which will also run during these 10 days, allowing you to earn digital collectibles for playing selected PS Plus titles. Details are yet to be announced.

There will be more on the weekend from the 24th to the end of the 25th of June online multiplayer for everyoneso PlayStation Plus will not be needed.
