“Sony’s Next Game Changer: DualSense Controller with Heating and Cooling Features”

Jakarta (ANTARA) – According to a newly discovered patent, Sony is reportedly working on a new version of their controller or DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5 (PS5), with heating and cooling features.

As Gizchina reported on Saturday, the new DualSense will be revolutionary and ambitious. With its ability to heat up and make players feel the heat in certain parts of the game.

The vibration will cause the controller to heat up or cool down depending on what’s going on in the game. For example, while exploring a desert area, one could feel the hot sun on one’s hands. Or by holding a frozen object, one could feel its coldness.

This feature is also useful if players are in a firefight, the controller can heat up to simulate the heat of gunfire. This will add an unprecedented level of realism to the gaming experience, letting players feel as if they are in the middle of the action.

The patent indicates that the DualSense controller’s plastic will be replaced with a gel-like material to avoid the risk of overheating and damage to the controller’s plastic and internal components.

It is important to note that this is only a patent. And players shouldn’t think of it as a definitive future outcome. Companies usually always apply for patents, but many are never published.

That said, the patents are pretty strong this time around, and it’s clear that Sony is increasingly focused on creating more sensory experiences for players.
