Novelty Sony WH-CH720N It has a light construction. Stamina single charge battery is supposed to be with ANC 35 hours, with noise suppression turned off then 50 hours. It is used for wireless connection Bluetooth 5.2 and codecs AAC a SBC (there will be no LDAC). It’s not missing Multipoint, i.e. the possibility of simultaneous connection to a pair of sound sources, and quick pairing Swift Pair and Fast Pair. Similarly, the possibility of a classic connection with a detachable cable via a 3.5 mm jack connector will be available.
Sony promises “authentic listening by reproducing music details with minimal distortion”. The sound tuning is said to be balanced “from low to high frequencies with natural and clean vocals”. Of course, you can fine-tune the resulting sound individually in the application, where you can choose from different settings depending on the genre, or you can create and save your own settings. There will be no lack of corporate DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine), which is an “upscaling” of compressed sound, the result should be the original quality.
The headphones are designed to be comfortable even when worn for longer periods of time. Synthetic leather and urethane materials combined with the optimal structure and dimensions of the earcups are supposed to ensure “exceptional wearing comfort”.
The weight of the headphones will be 192 grams, which ensures comfort. On the other hand, passive damping will not be as premium, the overall efficiency of ANC can of course be expected to be lower than that of a premium model. Furthermore, Sony promises better quality calls, which should be helped by the newly developed wind noise reduction.
New wireless supraaural headphones WH-CH520 belongs to the popular 500 series, where models with an excellent price/performance ratio have been arriving for a long time. The novelty received a 50-hour battery life, promises all-day comfort and should also have improved call quality. This model also gets Bluetooth 5.2, AAC, SBC, but also Multipoint or DSEE sound enhancement.
