After this week’s Microsoft blowout, where we found out both price and release date for Xbox Series X and S, it looks like Sony is ready to show off its cards.
As PlayStation Blog reports, the company will have a PlayStation 5 broadcast on Wednesday at 22:00 Norwegian time, and although the details are scarce, we assume that both price and date appear here. After all, it’s getting pretty late to keep that information.
Otherwise, the plan is to provide additional information such as features in the console, and to showcase in-house developed games and third-party games. So far we know that two versions of PlayStation 5 will be released: one with disk drive, and one without. Apart from this, they should both be equally powerful, which sets them apart from Microsoft’s plan with a powerful Xbox Series X and a slightly less powerful Xbox Series S.
While we wait for Sony, we can summarize the competitor’s plan: Xbox Series X ends up costing 5499 kroner, while the little brother console Xbox Series S will be launched at 3299 kroner. Both consoles will be released on November 10.
