Sony WF-1000XM4 TWS Begins to be Introduced to the Market

Interestingly, now Sony, which was previously reported to be working on the latest TWS product, by packing a V1 processor and a new driver called the WF-1000XM4 is starting to show off its products to the market. It is said that this device has active noise cancellation which is claimed to be better than before, then packed with various built-in features.

Highlights include support for high-resolution Bluetooth connection standards, as well as Hi-Res Audio, 360 Reality Audio and DSEE EXTREME sound optimization technology.

Then the WF-1000XM4 also has the same hands-free functionality as their over-ear Sony WH-1000XM4 sibling, including dual connection and a microphone with Precise Voice Pickup feature that significantly improves call audio quality. Then just like its predecessor, the WF-1000XM4 is also IPX4 certified so you can be sure it will be waterproof.

While the battery capacity of this TWS device is said to be able to last 8 hours, and a total of 24 hours with the battery in the charging case. Charging the case itself can be done via USB Type-C or Qi wireless. The charging process is also fast, with an advertised 60-minute battery life for only a 5-minute charge.

So far even though its existence has been detected, there is still no official word on pricing or availability. However, if you refer to the FCC certification, this TWS will be available starting June 9, and consumers certainly expect this device to have a competitive selling price, so that it is easily accessible by many people.
