That’s the only explanation that makes sense for a franchise that has brought us not one, but two global embarrassments that would normally kill a film series, and yet this one is still stumbling along blindly. Sony no longer even tries to hide its obvious self-sabotage with these films. Almost two weeks before it hits theaters, <a href="http://www.world-today-news.com/the-new-trailer-for-venom-the-last-dance-shows-the-imposing-knull-the-god-of-the-symbiotes/" title="The new trailer for 'Venom: The Last Dance' shows the imposing Knull, the God of the symbiotes”>Venom: The Last DanceThe director is already spoiling not only the ending of his own film, but, quite possibly, the plot of spider man 4 to boot.
while talking to IGNKelly Marcel, first-time director but three-time screenwriter of the Poison trilogy – addressed how the mysterious villain Knull fits into the proceedings. As glimpsed in the trailers, Knull, also known as the King in Black, is the most dangerous villain Venom has faced in comic book mythology, due to being the all-powerful god of the symbiotes.
Marcel assured fans that Sony will treat Knull well, confirming that the intention is for the character to return in future films after this one. “A single movie could never do Knull justice,” Marcel promised, before joking (or perhaps threatening) that “this is just the beginning.” She continued:
“Now we’re in spoiler territory and we hope that part of the fun of watching this movie is not knowing what will happen, but believe me, we know very well how important Knull is to the fans, so just as we laid the groundwork for Venom, we hope do the same with Knull,” he said. “The King in Black is too powerful for ‘one and done’.”

Filmmakers using the press circuit for their project to tease their hopes for more or what the franchise could offer in the future is nothing new, but telling us that Poison 3The main villain is definitely going to survive. Poison 3 It feels like it’s a little rushed. Especially considering the rumors that Knull could end up being the main villain of spider man 4 also.
One potential title for Tom Holland’s long-awaited return as the online-whispering web-slinger is Spider-Man: King in Blackwhich would supposedly see Peter Parker finally team up with Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock to fight Knull together. This would fit with other reports claiming that the film will be cosmic rather than street-level, and naturally it’s no secret that Sony has wanted to bring these characters together for a long time.
I wish this was the first time the director of a Sony Marvel movie ruined his own efforts, but Morbidity‘ Daniel Espinosa infamously detailed everything about Jared Leto’s bombshell post-credits scene in the week before the 2022 film hit theaters. That turned out to be an epic display of arrogance on Sony’s part, as that awkward Vulture cameo from Michael Keaton, who presumably created a Sinister Six team-up, went precisely nowhere.
History suggests, then, that perhaps we shouldn’t bet on Knull appearing in another movie after this one, despite the big things Sony has in mind. But one thing is certain: Poison 3 It’s definitely not the last dance in this universe: Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven the hunter continues on December 13.
