In their last study that to provide some PS5 backwards compatibility answers, the editors of the PlayStation Blog announce thearrival of more surprises for fans of the Black Monolith who wish to play titles from their PS4 catalog on Sony’s nextgen console.
Net of PS5 backward compatibility limitations, the new family of PlayStation consoles promises to offer a playful and content experience deep and layered, in continuity with what Sony has done in the current generation of consoles.
In underlining this important point, SIE’s Senior Vice President of Platform Planning & Management, Hideaki Nishino, specifies that “PS4 titles will be even better on PS5. Some PS4 games will enjoy even faster loading speeds on PS5 and take advantage of the game boost, with better or more stable framerates. Some titles with unlocked frame rates or dynamic resolution up to 4K could offer higher fidelity “.
After noting the aspects and potential of the advanced backward compatibility of PS5, Nishino tickles the curiosity of fans by explaining to them that “PS4 games will be able to take advantage of some of the new features of the PS5 user experience, but more on that later”. What the Sony executive is referring to when he mentions the “new user experience features” PlayStation 5 that have not yet been presented?
