Sony has shown an extensive gameplay video of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. PlayStation studio Insomniac’s game was previously announced, but gameplay had not yet been shown. The game will be released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 at the end of this year.

In the video of over seven minutes, action scenes and cut scenes alternate. The footage was shot on a PlayStation 5 console and the trailer is in 4K resolution on YouTube. It is the first time that Sony and Insomniac show extensive gameplay of the game.

The game was announced at Sony’s previous PlayStation livestream in June. At the time, only a short teaser trailer was shown. An exact release date is not yet available, Sony keeps it on ‘holidays 2020’.

Update 23:19: Sony has announced that the game will be released simultaneously with the PlayStation 5 on November 19. There will also be a remaster of the PlayStation 4 game Spider-Man for the PlayStation 5. Sony will offer a bundle of 80 euros, containing the new game and the remaster. Spider-Man: Miles Morales costs 60 euros separately.
