Sony Interactive Entertainment presented yesterday at the digital event PlayStation Showcase, several new features for the future of PlayStation 5. Among the 18 titles presented, the most spectacular in terms of graphics were Gran Turismo 7 and God of War Ragnarök.
In the reveal trailer we realize that this second episode starts a few years after the events of God of War (the PS4 game that came out in 2018), where the icy winds of Fimbulwinter reached Midgard, making the survival of Kratos, Atreus and Mimir even more challenging than ever. Kratos wants, above all, to keep his son safe and together, they will have to make the choice which way to go.
Regardless of the choice, they will define the fate of all who live in the Nine Realms as the end of time, or Ragnarök, approaches.
It is known that the game will arrive next year, but unfortunately, no concrete release date has been announced.
The other big title highlighted was Gran Turismo 7 which won a reveal trailer and had its release date confirmed on March 4, 2022, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This game will feature the best Gran Turismo experiences , including GT Campaign mode, where individual players will be able to set off on unique journeys that will be reflected in experiences and learning.
The Livery Editor with improved interface and improvements in usability and accessibility, Scapes, where it will be possible to have complete control of photography with HDR technology, photograph the car in 43 countries and over 2,500 locations, the return of legendary circuits such as Trial Mountain and High-Speed Ring, among others.
