Sony, like Apple, is one of the few manufacturers that still doesn’t have their own foldable smartphone. But that could change soon – rumor has it that the company is already working on a foldable gadget, which is expected to be called the Xperia Flip.
What is known
According to insiders, the Xperia Flip will have a clamshell form factor like the Samsung Galaxy Flip series smartphones. Only the aspect ratio of the screen will be 21:9, not 22:9 like the Galaxy Flip 4, so the device will be slightly wider.
The Sony Xperia Flip should also get an internal 7-inch screen with 4K resolution.
Unfortunately, there are no other details yet. Including, it is not known exactly when the smartphone will be ready for the official release.
