Sony has now revealed its most downloaded games across the entire PlayStation Store for 2023. Shockingly, for the European market, the top PS4 and PS5 game ended up being EA Sports FC 24, even though the game only debuted in September. Hogwarts Legacy and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III follow at second and third place on the PS5 charts, while Minecraft and Red Dead Redemption 2 round out the podium on the PS4 charts.
In North America, this looks a little different. Hogwarts Legacy tops the PS5 charts, with Modern Warfare III in second and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in third. Modern Warfare III takes the helm on the PS4 charts, with Hogwarts Legacy and MLB The Show 23 close behind.
PS VR2’s rankings in Europe and North America are very similar. Pavlov leads both regions, with Kayak VR: Mirage taking second place in Europe, Beat Saber taking third place, and Kayak VR taking third place in North America. It’s pretty much the same theme as PSVR game sales, as in the EU the top three are made up of Job Simulator, Beat Saber and Superhot VR, while North America sees Beat Saber taking the helm, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR not far behind.
In the free game rankings for PS4 and PS5, three games in both markets are on the podium, with “Fortnite” at the top, “Roblox” at second, and “Call of Duty: Warzone” Ranked third.
