At the conference held at CES 2023, Sony unveiled the first official images of the film Gran Turismo. In a short trailer you can observe a camera game similar to the games, as well as a competitive atmosphere with a high level of fidelity.
According to the producers, the feature film will be a definitive adaptation of the franchise for the screen and will seek to offer maximum immersion through filming in IMAX. Columbia Pictures partners with Sony to deliver a racing experience where fans feel like they’re on the racetrack.

Gran Turismo, a film directed by Neill Blomkamp (“District 9”) and written by Jason Hall (“Honor to Merit”), is in development through a partnership with PlayStation Productions. There is still no date set for the release, which will take place exclusively in theaters.
