Sony has now unveiled its new flagship for soundbars, the HT-A7000.
The soundbar has 7.1.2-channel surround sound with two upward-facing speakers, two directional trebles and five forward-facing speakers, as well as two built-in subwoofers. The soundbar also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS: X.
Through the Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force Pro, the HT-A7000 will be able to create a virtual surround. Thanks to built-in microphones and the Sound Field Optimization function, which measures the height and width of the room, the soundbar can also optimize the sound automatically.
There is also a new music listening feature, 360 Reality Audio, which claims to offer a sound experience similar to that obtained at a live concert or studio. The feature is supported through Amazon Music HD, Deezer, nugs.net and Tidal.
When it comes to games and movies, the HT-A7000 supports all the latest formats such as 8k hdr, 4k120 and Dolby Vision.
Those who want an even deeper bass can also buy the 300W wireless subwoofer SA-SW5 with a 180mm drive unit or SA-SW3 of 200W and with a 160mm drive unit. It is also possible to add the rear speakers SA-RS3 S with a total output power of 100W for an even wider surround sound.
HT-A7000 will be available in September. Price is around SEK 15,000.
The supplements SA-SW5, SA-SW3 and SA-RS3S will also be released in September and will cost SEK 8,000, 5,000 and 5,000.
