Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Sony officially announced the price of the PlayStation 5 (PS5) “Slim” console for the Indonesian market. In the official statement, PS5 Slim and its accessories will be available in Indonesia starting today, Tuesday 20 February 2024.
The retail price is set at IDR 9,699,000 for the PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and IDR 8,199,000 for the PS5 Digital Edition.
In addition, the Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive for the new PS5 Digital will be sold separately for IDR 1,839,000 and the new Vertical Stand which is compatible with all PS5 models will be sold separately for IDR 499,000.
There are several PS5 Console Cover colors also available for the new model, including Deep Earth Collection colors in Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver. PS5 Console Cover Prices start from IDR 939,000.
Currently, consumers who are interested in the PS5 Slim and its supporting accessories can check it at Sony PlayStation partner retail stores in Indonesia. A list of these stores can be seen at
PS5 Slim is a new variant of the PS5 console that Sony announced at the end of 2023. Unlike the regular PS5, the PS5 Slim has a removable disc drawer, so it has a slimmer shape.
