PS5 sells faster than PS4
Undoubtedly, the number would have been higher if it was not so difficult to obtain. But even if they can not produce enough consoles, sales go faster than PS4 did in the same time period in 2013.

Xbox X | S is around three million behind PS5 – sells as Playstation 5 faster than previous generations
Microsoft has not revealed its numbers, probably because they know they are lower than Sony’s.
Daniel Ahmad from the analysis company Niko Partners, reports that X | S sales are around 6.5 million as of June 30 – up from 5.7 million Xbox One (2013) sold managed and up from 5 million Xbox 360 managed in the same time period in 2005.
