Lego and Sony give Epic $ 1 billion each
The term really took hold when Zuckerberg stunted and simply changed his name from Facebook to Meta, and now suddenly everyone wants to use the same expression.
This investment is large, and in many ways backs up Meta’s vision for the future, namely AR interspersed with VR for personal experiences.

It is Kirkbi, a group backed by the Lego family Kirk Kristiansen who together with Sony invests two billion dollars in Epic Games’ long-term VR / AR project which is a collaboration with Lego.
The investment will accelerate our work to build the meta-verse and create places where players can have fun with friends, brands can build creative and embodied experiences and creators can build a great society.
