Is Spider-Man going to the spin-off movies that Sony is working on or not? Although Venom was a great success, they quickly applied the brakes Silver & Black. Director Gina Prince-Bythewood went to work on another project and now says that it is up to Spider-Man that her project came to a halt.“The honest answer is I don’t know,” Prince-Bythewood said in an interview with GamesRadar about the status of the project. “I really love these characters, seeing them together would be really fun. I thought it was a good, organic way to bring them together. But the world changed a lot with the success of the Spider-Man movies.”
Blame Spider-Man
“It really came down to whether you can make these movies without Spider-Man in them. Wouldn’t he be at least a small part of it? That’s always the question,” she continued. “I took two years off for The Old Guard, so as soon as that movie comes out, and I hope successful, I can talk back and forth with them.”
So the question is whether or not Spider-Man should be featured in the spin-offs. We know that Morbius is full of references to the character, so that’s interesting.
