Talking about the features of PlayStation VR 2, this device offers a high-fidelity visual experience with the presence of 4K HDR support, and a viewing angle of 110 degrees.

The device is equipped with an OLED display and has a screen resolution of 2000×2040 per eye and a smooth 90/120Hz refresh rate.

Sony has embedded the latest PS VR2 Sense sensor technology which combines eye tracking, headset feedback, 3D Audio, and the innovative PS VR2 Sense controller to create an immersive feeling when used.

Feedback headset is a new sensory feature that amplifies the sensation of in-game action from players. It is made by one built-in motor with vibration which adds an element of smart touch, bringing players closer to the gaming experience.

For example, gamers may feel a character’s pulse increase during tense moments, the roar of an object passing near the character’s head, or the thrust of a vehicle as the character advances.

Additionally, a technology called Tempest 3D AudioTech from the PS5 brings the sound around the player to life, adding to this new level of immersion.

With the eye tracking feature, PS VR2 can detect your eye movements, so a simple glance in a certain direction can create additional input for game characters.

“This allows players to interact more intuitively in new and real ways, enabling higher emotional response and enhanced expression that provides a new level of realism in gameplay,” added Nishino. (HR)
