POJOKSATU.ID – Sony has just announced its newest flagship camera sensor, the LYT-900. This sensor is the successor to the LYT 808 which was previously used on the OnePlus 12 and OPPO Find N3.
This sensor will be present in the next flagship smartphone devices.
LYT-900, Modified Version of IMX 989
This sensor is a 50MP sensor with a 1 inch type and a pixel size of 1.6 microns. This sensor is likely a modified version of the previously released IMX 989.

In LYT or LYTIA sensor technology, Sony adds a dual stacked transistor layer to the camera sensor, to increase light capture.
Previously it was also reported that this technology would be applied to their IMX series, making it a new sensor model.
The LYT 900 sensor is known to be able to improve camera performance even when used in low light conditions.

This sensor is also said to come with new DCG (Dual Conversion Gain) technology which is expected to reduce image noise and increase image output in low light conditions.
Currently, Oppo and Xiaomi are reportedly testing the new camera sensor for flagship smartphones using the new LYT 900 sensor. The models that are expected to get the 1 inch LYT 900 sensor are the Oppo Find X7 Pro, and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.***
