Sony and Honda already cooperate in the Sony Honda Mobility company, but have now announced the name of the car brand under which they will produce the cars. It’s called Afeela and the first car with its logo was shown at CES. He came on stage in motion and probably surprised many in attendance.
The new car actually turned out to be the Vision-S concept introduced by Sony last year, but with a modified logo on the front. The two companies didn’t explain much about the new name, saying only that the root of the word is the English “feel”, which is at the heart of the mobile experience that the company wants to offer to the customer.
The company’s first car will hit the market in early 2025 and will be followed by the start of sales later this year. The first deliveries in North America are expected to start in 2026. It is also known that the car will have 45 sensors inside and out, and Qualcomm will contribute the best processors in the market.
