“Sons of the Forest Patch 5: New Log Sleds, Cooking Methods, and More!”

Endnight Games has released the fifth major patch for its survival sandbox Sons of the Forest, adding new content, as well as making improvements and bug fixes.

This patch adds 2 log sleds, a new advanced cooking method, the ability to grow trees, the ability to play guitar, a new bay with sailboats, lots of world detail and environmental improvements, and more.

Here’s what’s new:

• Ability to build basic and advanced sleds from logs
• Tree growth (enabled by default) with 10% chance of random growth while sleeping
• Findable cooking pots and a new improved cooking system
• You can now add tarps to log structures
• Added 2 new found videos
• Added location with beached sailboats
• Added 79 new ponds and 34 new lakes to the map
• Now you can play the guitar
• Added Timmy’s mutated arm to the demon fight scene
• Added a new wearable item of clothing
• Added new Kelvin commands to drop traps, fill sleds with logs, and fill drying racks with fish
