Developers from the Canadian studio Endnight Games on Thursday at Steam released an early access version survival titul Sons Of The Forest. It is the successor to the 2018 title The Forest.
Although the game is still only freshly available in the early access program, it has already managed to reach a really large number of players. The authors themselves are on their own official Twitter they boasted that they sold out in the first 24 hours of release more than 2 million pieces.
The great interest in the game is also well illustrated by the data from the streaming platform Twitchwhere individual live broadcasts of Sons of the Forest had more viewers than the traditionally most popular Just Chatting category.
Statistics straight from Steam then show that Sons of the Forest currently has a comparable number of players as Hogwarts Legacy. At one time, the popular survival even had more than 269 thousand players running. The current record of the mentioned Hogwarts Legacy, for comparison, is 275 thousand players.
