The Groupe Pierre et Vacances Center Parcs, which claims to be the European market leader in local tourism, has a new marketing manager: Sonja Renkens took over the post of Head of Marketing for Germany, Austria and Switzerland and future Denmark on January 1st, as the company announced on January 1st announced Thursday.
After studying business administration, the business administration graduate worked in the service sector of Axa-Versicherung, in the management of the digital platform meinestadt.de and most recently at the omnichannel retailer QVC.
Renken’s new main responsibilities include leading the local marketing team for DACH in the areas of marketing management, social media and content management, as well as supporting Center Parcs’ market entry in Denmark.
