A concept considered revolutionary for the franchise but also worrying because the first gameplay videos seem bland, what SEGA is about to offer with Sonic Frontiers is a really big bet. How come? It is a super fast action platform game that is stunning in two dimensions, now “transformed” into a large open world game with free exploration. There is a fear that it will not be able to offer the Sonic feeling of speed momentum or simply satisfy on the side of the fights. For the latter deal, the blue hedgehog will be gifted with so many things.
Through a new trailer, Sonic Frontiers introduces a system you never thought would appear in this franchise. That’s right, Sonic Frontiers will come with a lot of modern action game mechanics, including Parry which can be followed by an effective counterattack. Of course, along with the journey, Sonic will also be equipped with a Skill Tree ready to reinforce the aggressive ability of this fast blue hedgehog.
