Sonia Bruganelli replied to Laura Freddi’s statement: “Well…the pinnacle of success was with me. However, it wasn’t exactly unknown before”. In short, judging by her words, Paolo Bonolis’s wife does not seem to agree completely with the version given by Laura Freddi. But no hatred in this question and answer. Laura Freddi, in fact, shared the words of Sonia Bruganelli on her Instagram profile, proving once again that a beautiful friendship was born between them. In an interview with Corriere, Freddi said of Sonia Bruganelli:

His was a virtual hatred, perhaps he had idealized my figure, but the five and a half years I spent with Paolo are a crumb, compared to their marriage. Why did I leave him? We loved each other very well and it was painful for both of us to separate. I wanted more, a family, but the timing was wrong, our times didn’t coincide.
