As part of the XV. During the Erzgebirge concert winter in the Schneeberg cultural center Goldne Sonne, a song afternoon with the mezzo-soprano Marie Henriette Reinhold and her piano partner Alexander Schmalcz is planned for next Sunday from 4 p.m. The program includes selected songs by the French singer Pauline Viardot (1821-1919), who is being honored throughout Europe on the occasion of her 200th birthday. As a legendary celebrity of her time, Pauline Viardote was in close contact with musical greats such as Frédéric Chopin, Johannes Brahms and Camille Saint-Saëns. (pl)
