“The race surprised us a bit, we didn’t race for practically two years and we didn’t know what to expect from it at all,” Synek told ČTK. “The repair was a bit better. We tried to keep the Swiss, but they were faster, even though we commuted them nicely in the second half,” added the five-time world champion on the skiff. “In the semifinals, we will go what we can and see,” added Synek.
On Saturday, repairs await, in which he will fight to advance to the finals, two without the helmsman Pavlína Flamíková and Anna Šantrůčková. They were third in the race. The skier Jan Cincibuch is already out of the medal game, who was fourth in the race and third in the repairs. He will have to start in the so-called C / D semifinals and fight for 13th place.
