The police named Rifki Azis Ramadhan (23) as the suspect stabbing his mother Sri Widiastuti (43) died and injured his father Bakti Ajis Munir (49). Rifki had the heart to kill his mother by stabbing her vital organs.
Cimanggis Police Chief Kompol Arief Budiharso said the incident occurred at Jalan Bakti Abri number 286 RT 3/8 Sukamaju Baru, Tapos, Depok, Thursday (10/8/2023), around 9.30 WIB. The victim who was sitting at the dining table was stabbed with a knife by the suspect.
“At that time, Sri Widiastuti’s sister was sitting at the dinner table, then the perpetrator stabbed her with a knife,” Arief said at a press conference at the Cimanggis Police, Jalan Raya Bogor, Depok, Friday (11/8/2023).
The stabbing was seen from the knife Rifki used. The stabbing involved the neck, chest, thighs, namely the vital organs of the mother.
“You can see that the knife hit the neck, chest, thighs, essentially hitting the victim’s vital organs,” he said.
After 15 minutes, Rifki saw his father enter the house. Then Rifki did the slashing using a machete.
“After that, 15 minutes later, the suspect saw the victim witness Bakti Ajis, who is the suspect’s own father, enter the house. Then he immediately slashed with this machete, but at first he used the handle of this machete to hit the victim’s head,” he said.
Rifki brought him in and locked his father into the room. A struggle ensued until finally Rifki slashed his father.
“After that the victim was brought into the room and locked, that’s where a struggle occurred and the suspect tried to slash the victim again,” he said.
His father screamed for help until the people broke down the locked room door. Residents found Rifki and his father covered in blood and were rushed to the hospital.
“In the room the victim screamed for help, until finally the community came and broke down the locked room door. After being broken into by the residents, they secured the suspect and the victim, were taken to the hospital. Only after that did the residents inform the police,” he concluded.
Previously, Rifki Azis Ramadhan (23) was found guilty of stabbing his parents so that his mother Sri Widiastuti (43) died and his father Bakti Ajis Munir (49) was injured in Sukamaju Baru, Cimanggis, Depok, West Java. The police named Rifki Azis Ramadhan as a suspect.
“So we have determined, from the investigators from the TKP results, collection of evidence and evidence from the investigators from the Cimanggis Police, they have named RA as a suspect in the case,” said Cimanggis Police Chief Commissioner Arief Budiharso to reporters at the Cimanggis Police, Jalan Raya Bogor, DepokFriday (11/8).
Meanwhile, the police said that Rifki’s motive for killing his mother was because he was often scolded at heart.
“The trigger motive was the suspect’s hurt towards his parents,” said Kompol Arief Budiharso.
