Son Robin Williams commemorates deceased father with cycling photo

“Happy 71st birthday, Dad. I will remember you as you wanted to be remembered: in a cycling suit’, Zak writes with a photo of his father, dressed in a cycling outfit and with a racing bike in his hand. “I miss you and will always love you.”

Robin was a big cycling fan. He had an extensive collection of racing bikes and regularly stood along the route of the Tour de France as a fan. The actor became widely known for roles in films such as Mrs. Doubtfire, Dead Poets Society, Jumanji, Good Will Hunting in Good Morning, Vietnam.

On August 11, 2014, police announced that Robin had been found dead at his California home. After years of alcohol problems and depression, the actor took his own life. Robin was still working until just before his death, so that after his death, new films such as Boulevard in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb came out.
