“Son of Prosecutor from Pernik Faces Court in Burgas” – Latest Update from Court and Prosecutor’s Office in News Bg

The prosecutor’s son, Vasil Mihailov, is standing before the District Court in Burgas.

This is one of three cases against him. The case is from the summer of 2021 in Sozopol, when Mihailov attacked a man and hit him in the face. The district prosecutor’s office in Burgas charged him with inflicting medium bodily harm.

Two other beating cases are pending against Mihailov. The prosecutor’s son was detained at the beginning of June last year after beating the former footballer of “Minor” (Pernik) Rumen Andonov. His arrest came after an action by the Ministry of the Interior in the city in response to Mayor Stanislav Vladimirov’s threat to lead protests against the police’s refusal to act on reports against the prosecutor’s son.
