The 37-year-old son of Brazilian President Bolsonaro has been infected with corona. Eduardo Bolsonaro is the third member of Brazil’s delegation to the UN General Assembly in New York to test positive, after the health minister and a diplomat. He writes on Twitter that he had had one shot with the Pfizer vaccine.
President Bolsonaro, who has not been vaccinated and was seen masked several times in New York, has been quarantined in the presidential palace since returning to Brazil. If he tests negative this weekend, he plans to resume work.
Outside the UN delegation, the Brazilian cabinet is still struggling with two infections: the Minister of Agriculture and the Attorney General.
