Star Tottenham Hotspur Son Heung-min just returned to the club after summer break. However, Son showed a less enthusiastic face.
Tottenham only finished seventh with 62 points, five points adrift of Chelsea in the top four in the Premier League last season. Thus, Spurs ‘only’ will play in the Europa Conference League, a European competition under the Champions League and Europa League.
Tottenham’s poor performance also made manager Jose Mourinho lose his job. Spurs have now appointed former Wolverhampton boss Nuno Espirito Santo as permanent manager for the 2021/2022 season.
Son Heung min will begin to get acquainted with the new Tottenham manager. The South Korean football star was noted to have arrived at Tottenham’s training ground at Einfield on Monday (19/7/2021) local time.
In a short video uploaded Tottenham on social media shows Son entering the training building wearing a long-sleeved shirt with black and white stripes, yellow shorts and sandals. Son then waved his hand at the camera without a big smile.
As a result, the expression of the 29-year-old player became a separate discussion among fans. Many of them speculated that Son put on a gloomy face because of Tottenham’s less-than-ideal situation.

In the midst of bad results Tottenham, Son Heung-min showed good performance after packing 22 goals and 17 assists in 51 appearances throughout last season. Reportedly, Son has been willing to add a year to his contract in North London with a weekly salary of 200 thousand pounds (Rp 3.98 billion).
