Tottenham Hotspur’s signature striker Son Heung-min (29) aims at his 100th goal at the beginning of the new year.
Football London, a British soccer media outlet, predicted Sohn Heung-min’s starting appearance prior to Tottenham and Leeds United’s Premier League Round 17, which will be held in London on the 2nd at 9:30 pm (Korean time). It is Son Heung-min’s 100th goal challenge, who scored 99 goals in the official game in 2015 wearing a Tottenham uniform.
Originally, Son Heung-min was scheduled to challenge the 100th goal in the match against Fulham on the 31st of last month. However, the match was urgently canceled as several corona 19 confirmed people poured out from the Fulham team. This is why Son Heung-min’s challenge to the 100th goal has been tried again over the years.
Son Heung-min is tied for second in the scoring ranking by scoring 11 goals (14 goals including the cup competition) this season in the Premier League. He tied for sixth with four assists (7 including the Cup). With 15 attack points (21 including cup competitions) combined with scoring and assistance, he tied for fourth place.
As it consistently maintains the top position in the main attack indicators, it is highly likely to score 100 goals against Leeds. However, recently, teams dealing with Tottenham are having fun with the strategy of intensively marking Son Heung-min and Harry Kane, so Liz is expected to use similar tactics.
The focus of tactics is on defensive stability, and attention is focused on what solution manager Jose Mourinho Tottenham will find, which is evaluated as relatively inferior in the ability to respond to the aggressive part.
