Son Heung-min Dislocates Finger in Korean National Team Controversy

Tottenham striker dislocated a finger during the Korean team’s concentration

Son Heung-min dislocated a finger on his hand after being involved in a controversy at the Korean national team’s camp.

According to The Sun newspaper, the incident occurred during dinner, after South Korea’s elimination from the Asian Cup (0-2 defeat against Jordan). From what the British newspaper was able to find out, some of the younger players on the team finished their meal faster, so they could play a little table tennis.

Displeased with the situation, considering that meals are occasions for players to socialize with each other, Son confronted the group, and tempers escalated out of nowhere. After a heated exchange of words, the Tottenham winger ended up with a dislocated finger.

PSG’s 22-year-old Lee Kang-in was reportedly one of the youngest players Son discussed with.

«Son asked them to go back and sit down, and they responded with disrespectful things. Within a few seconds, the players started arguing in the dining room and had to be removed,” a source told the British newspaper.
