Son Allegedly Kills Mother in Depok Residence: Police Investigation Underway

DEPOK, KOMPAS.com – A boy with the initials RA (23) allegedly killed his mother with the initials SW (43) at their residence, Jalan Takong, Sukamaju Baru, Tapos, Depok, Thursday (10/8/2023).

Cimanggis Police Chief Kompol Arief Budiharso emphasized that the police were still investigating further regarding this allegation. Currently, RA is still a suspected perpetrator.

“We are carrying out further investigations, but for the time being (the alleged perpetrator) is targeting his son,” Arief said at the crime scene (TKP), Thursday.

Meanwhile, the police have yet to reveal how RA killed SW.

Apart from allegedly killing SW, RA is also suspected of injuring his father with the initials BA (49). On the one hand, RA is also injured.

According to Arief, RA and BA were injured by sharp objects. Two injured victims were evacuated to Sentra Medika Hospital, Depok.

“The father and son were in the room injured. Both were evacuated to Sentra Medika Hospital in Depok,” he said.

Arief previously mentioned that the discovery of SW’s body began when local residents heard an argument from the victim’s residence around 09.30 WIB.

Residents then tried to enter SW’s house. However, the house is locked.

According to Arief, residents finally broke down the door of SW’s residence so they could enter.

Residents then found SW’s body in the kitchen of his residence.

“Residents checked their back, into the kitchen, and found a woman, namely the wife (SW) of the owner of the house, dead,” he said.

Arief continued, apart from finding SW’s body, residents also found two other people who were injured, namely BA and RA.
