TV viewers became acquainted with Lars when he stepped in for his then-girlfriend Trine, who had to be hospitalized after an injury she sustained during filming.
After being on the TV screen since April, the twins from Toten, have gained many new fans – and not least, they have received a lot of courtship letters from guys who want to get to know them better,
But for the twins, it’s out of the question to start a love affair now – or?
Trine laughs when we ask her about the courtship letters.
– He he yes, we have received letters, but we do not answer them! I’m not looking for a love affair now, but if it shows up, then it shows up. But we do not stress about it, no.
– It’s nice, but I do not want a girlfriend now, I have a busy family life. I think; if it happens, then it happens … but it’s not something I want to happen now.

Tough to be away from the kids
As both Trine and Trude are single mothers, they praise the “Sommerhytta” production for letting them have contact with the children, who are aged five to twenty, during the recording.
– Being away from my girls was tougher than I thought. It was a big transition. We had a “girls’ meeting” and we discussed a lot. For me, it was important that the girls were taken care of and felt safe when I was away on recording, says Trude, who is the mother of Marthe, 13, and Oda, 19.
Trine, who has three children, also thought it was tough to be away from the children a lot – especially the youngest man.

– Being away from the children was tough at times. You miss them and think about them all the time. There was a lot of preparation and planning ahead“Sommerhytta”, especially for my five-year-old son, who is a very mum boy. But we talked together every day on FaceTime, and then I was home every weekend, says Trine.
And that the two sisters have a close and good relationship, TV viewers have experienced over the last almost three months the program has been on TV2.
– What do you miss most when you are away from each other?
– The cozy coffee talks in the morning, and just stopping by for a walk during the day! says Trine.
–
– Yes! And all the laughter, the kindness and the nice conversations. And inventing something with our children. We enjoy each other’s company, with laughter and the serious talk we have. We joke and fool around, but we can also be calm and just let the world go. It’s lovely too, says Trude with a smile.
The “Summer Cabin” final will be broadcast on TV2 on Thursday 10 June.
