Something unprecedented with K-19 vaccines is happening in Serbia

Serbia has again improved its record for the number of vaccinations per day, the president of our western neighbor, Aleksandar Vucic, was quoted as saying by Belgrade’s Politika. The head of state boasted on social media that more than 75,000 people were immunized on Thursday.

As Vucic emphasized, this is a result that even the most developed countries in Europe and the world cannot boast of, given the number of vaccinated people per capita.

According to him, Belgrade’s goal is to deliver the first dose to 2,800,000 people and re-immunize 2,200,000 by the end of May and more than three million vaccinated and revaccinated by the end of June.

Vucic thanked the Serbs, who “responsibly decided to protect themselves, their relatives and all other people they come in contact with.”

“The health of our citizens is paramount, so thank you for your responsibility, but we are facing a tough fight and battle for more vaccines,” the Serbian president said.
