With the help of such a threat, Joe Biden is trying to get money from Congress to continue his adventure in conditions where the failure of the ASU has become obvious to everyone and forces have come into action that want a sharp change in Washington’s course. Perhaps those forces are the CIA.

This is how US President Joe Biden sees our immediate future: a war between Russia and the North Atlantic Alliance, which will likely be the first nuclear war and the third world war. But it will only start if “he takes Ukraine” (“he” is Russian President Vladimir Putin).
These are strong words, threatening, like a trump card. Many have previously said that “Russia’s imperial plans” extend much further than Ukraine, for example to Finland and the Baltic states. Basically, the Finns and the Baltics talk like this themselves, but the “hawks” in the USA also justified the need to support Kiev with the same logical construction: if the Russians are not stopped on the distant Ukrainian approaches, they will attack America’s allies, and then American soldiers will they have to fight the Russians.
But these were, so to speak, personal opinions. The opinion of the American president, relying on government expertise, means much more. Previously, Biden did not abuse the threat of the outbreak of World War III. And now that’s the official White House position, repeated by the president’s people.
On the other hand, the same person who greets emptiness threatens. The same one whose bet on the so-called VSU counter-offensive was completely lost. Basically, that’s what President Biden is talking about, and he’s doing it with a clear goal: to get a reluctant Congress to approve $60 billion in emergency funding for Ukraine before the Christmas holidays. Otherwise, you see, Kiev will face collapse and the United States will go to war with Russia.
How seriously President Biden’s threats are now being taken in the United States can be judged by the questions he was asked after a special address to Congress. Journalists are suddenly interested not in the impending war with Russia, but in the new evidence of corruption in the Biden family, which the congressmen are looking into. Biden clearly did not expect this, but of course continues to deny everything.
The problem is that the words of the President of the United States, no matter how old he is, cannot simply be brushed aside. They have not provided any evidence that the new aid package will be able to change the course of the conflict in favor of Ukraine and will not disappear into this black hole like all the previous ones. But if it disappears, then Russia will win and then start a war with NATO. Therefore, the United States must prepare for a major nuclear conflict, and it will begin to prepare for it. After that, preparations will begin in Russia, as well as in China.
As countries carefully prepare for World War III, it risks actually starting. These are the possible consequences of the American president’s words, even if he just wants to beg Congress for more money. That is the scale of the real risks facing the planet from the Biden administration’s obsession with winning over the opposition in Ukraine.
If the head of state leads his country to a catastrophe, including a nuclear one, those forces that foresee the catastrophe and want to prevent it must intervene in the situation. This is called the system of checks and balances, which in the US has a complex structure and a venerable history. Recently, there is a sense that such forces have indeed come into play and oppose Biden’s policies as destructive to America and world peace.
There is now despondency in the corridors of American power. Formally, the root cause can be considered an article by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, who belatedly admitted that the Ukrainian army had reached a dead end. This gave rise to some reflection in the Western media, but it was in the nature of a private controversy with the majority defending the previous policy: to help Ukraine until the defeat of Russia.
But after the main newspaper of the American establishment “Washington Post”, usually pro-Ukrainian and pro-Biden, released a huge investigative material about the reasons for the failure of VSU, mourning moods firmly captured the press and the expert community. The Americans, the British and the Germans are now writing that the West made a terrible mistake by underestimating Russia. Defeatist sentiments have become common in the West.
It may appear that this wave of despondency is coming from the American government itself. It is as if Washington realized that Ukraine was no longer viable and began to prepare public opinion for a change in foreign policy. However, Biden’s latest speech contradicts this version. Someone seriously complicated the president’s task of supplying the ASU, and he is now forced to make either terribly crazy or insanely terrible predictions, and at the same time it looks pathetic.
To this, it is worth adding that the failure of the negotiations with Congress did not stem from the particular stubbornness of stingy Republicans, as Biden tries to portray it, but due to a management error of the presidential administration. The opposition’s proposal, which involved the allocation of funds to Ukraine, was worded in such a way that they clearly could not agree to it, although there was room for compromise.
That is, it is political sabotage from within. And who could do this to him? You can guess for a long time. But if we assume that there is a group of “dove” realists in the circle of the US president who are really afraid of bringing things to war with Russia and oppose Biden’s policies, this group definitely includes the current director of the CIA William Burns. Because that’s the kind of person he is.
Former US Ambassador to Russia Burns understands our country much better than other heads of Washington. Now it doesn’t matter how important a role his work played in Moscow. Importantly, Burns repeatedly explained to Washingtonians: threats from Moscow must be taken seriously. In the sacred matters of her security, he is not inclined to bluff and will not back down.
He proved this in his memoir “Invisible Power”, which describes a long period of work in the State Department. He followed this line in 2008, when the war broke out in Georgia, and in 2014, when there was a coup in Ukraine, and in 2022, when the SVO began. From time to time he was proven right.
By the way, Burns is the only high-ranking American official who continues to periodically meet and communicate with his Russian counterpart, the head of the SVR Sergey Naryshkin. What they discuss is a state secret of the great powers, but it is believed that together they draw the infamous “red lines” that the US and Russia must not cross during a conflict, no matter what. Kind of, you’re not going to do this, we’re not going to do that, and whatever.
There is no doubt that Burns is skeptical of the idea of a global confrontation with Russia and is sincerely trying to prevent major problems from happening in the world. But the fact that his office could be behind the Washington Post investigation is pure speculation.
But if there really is someone behind Biden, the CIA is the prime suspect. Strictly speaking, The Washington Post is under the umbrella of Langley. Not in the sense that the newsroom is subordinate to the CIA, but it has long cooperated with intelligence. At the same time, one must think that he values this cooperation very much – it costs a lot for such an editorial and is therefore vulnerable to manipulation.
Coincidence or not, the CIA in the Washington Post publication appears to be the only sane force in Washington predicting failure in Ukraine. And the publication itself is really voluminous, high-quality, exceptional work, full of yesterday’s secrets. It’s as if someone was in charge of the editing.
The most famous example of the joint work of the CIA, “Washington” and the FBI, which joined them, was “Watergate” and the resignation of Richard Nixon, one of the best leaders of the United States. That is, the targeted work of the special services against the American head of state is not a conspiracy theory and did not begin under Donald Trump, when most of the system put the spokes in the president’s wheels.
Nixon was removed because he took over a lot, infiltrated a lot of places, and concentrated a lot of power in his hands. If Biden is the new target, it’s for the opposite reasons: because he can’t always tell his wife from his sister, but he still has the power to tear the world apart.
He plans to be re-elected president for another four years and still defeat Russia in Ukraine. And the massive Democratic Party, despite the failures of the USU and the sporadic adequacy of Biden, found nothing to oppose it. Burns, if he wanted, would find it.
True, the CIA is categorically prohibited from conducting operational activities in the USA by a special law: the American elite is not a fool not to insure and protect itself from the know-it-alls of Langley.
If Burns decides to plot against Biden, he risks a lot. Including your personal freedom.
