The remake of Silent Hill 2 will be released in October, but it seems that some copies have already reached their owners. If you’re not one of those who played the original Silent Hill 2 and want to venture into the misty town while launching the remake yourself, you’ll want to be careful to avoid spoilers. The plot should be exactly the same as the original, but obviously not everyone knows and not everyone wants to know before the remake of Silent Hill 2 release.
A user in a post on Reddit showed a photo of his still closed copy of Silent Hill 2 and wrote: “To this day I have never received an advance copy of the game».
According to what was said in the comments on Reddit, the user is from the UK and got a copy through the GAME network (a famous British video game retailer). It also seems that his copy was supposed to include a steel book (presumably no GAME), but it was not included in the order. Anyway, it’s an odd situation since the game will be available starting Tuesday, October 8th.
