Someone finally fixed Apple’s worst design

A social media engineer has finally fixed one of the worst designs ever created by Apple, by adding wireless charging to Apple’s Magic Mouse.

The Magic Mouse is notorious because the device’s charging port is located under the device, which makes it impossible to use while charging, and makes the flipped device very unsightly and unappealing to Apple. (In the photo)

Now, in a video shared on social media, an engineer took matters into his own hands and created a wireless charging Magic Mouse thanks to a lot of DIY.

The video, shared by DuanRui on Twitter, is a therapeutic 90-second wizardry, ending with a Magic Mouse that can be charged wirelessly. They even added a built-in wireless charging point to your desk thanks to some under-table modifications. Check it out!

A popular companion accessory to Apple’s iMac line, there’s a chance the Magic Mouse will get a slightly more official update this year. According to recent reports, Apple plans to launch new iMacs to replace its existing 23.1 and 27-inch models. From that report:

A new report from Bloomberg claims that Apple has a slew of new products in the works in the iMac, Mac Pro and display lines. Includes a replacement for the popular $ 999 Thunderbolt display.

Starting with iMacs, the Bloomberg report says Apple is working on versions to replace the existing 21.5-inch and 27-inch models, though it’s unclear what the sizes of the new models will be. The design will be entirely new, with something closer to the Pro Display XDR aesthetic, the report states.

The report indicates that Apple’s new iMacs will look a lot like Apple’s Pro Display XDR monitor.
