“We must not forget that the people who work in the centers, the volunteers and healthcare professionals, have been busy for a year now. We must also respect that,” says Dirk Ramaekers of the Vaccination Taskforce.
“In addition, we have also noticed that people who are invited to get a shot during the holidays are less inclined to come to the centers.”
It is not yet clear how many centers are involved. “That will have to become apparent in the coming weeks,” concludes Ramaekers. “But whoever receives an invitation can be sure that the invitation will go through.”
