WhatsApp has decided to tackle apps that take advantage of its brand. According to Het Nieuwsblad, the messaging service warns users who use a “pirate” version of the application such as “GB WhatsApp” or “WhatsApp Plus”.
While these “apps” offer you additional functionality, they do not comply with the terms of use of WhatsApp, which is stepping up to the plate: “If you received a message indicating that your account has been temporarily banned, it means that you are using probably an unsupported version of WhatsApp. Anyone who does not change after this temporary ban can be permanently blocked ”.
