Some Rangers fans have been reacting after Eddie Howe was announced as Newcastle United’s new manager.
So why do Rangers fans care that Howe goes to Newcastle? Well, this managerial move has given them an excellent opportunity to poke fun at their biggest rivals.
If you think back to the summer, it looked like Howe was going to head to Celtic Park, but a late break in negotiations led to the English turning Glasgow down.
Instead, Celtic chose to name Ange Postecoglou, and so far, the Australian has failed to beat the Rangers in the title race.
Indeed, Celtic are still four points behind Rangers, and as Postecoglou struggles to regain the Scottish title from rivals the Bhoys, Howe now runs the richest club in world football.
Eddie Howe to Newcastle is embarrassing
