The Asturians stand out in a ranking led by the Canaries and closed by the Valencians, the best-spoken

Almost half of Spaniards – 48.3% – do not like anything that tacos are used in their presence. They feel uncomfortable, even offended, as revealed by a study carried out by a language learning platform. Paradoxical, living in a country where —confirmed— people speak badly, with an average of nine swear words a day per person. They are less than those that are articulated in the United States, where some 21 are released daily, and also less than those used in Poland —19—, and in the United Kingdom and Germany —ten—. But still there are many. Asturians are in fourth position in the ranking of verbal rudeness led by the canaries, the Andalusians and the Galicians.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Granada and the area of A Coruña, Oleiros and Arteixo are, on the entire map, the territories where the most tacos are heard, with an average of 16, 13 and 12 daily, respectively. Behind them, in Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés they say an average of 11 tacos a day, that to more than one surely they seem to few. Las Palmas and Levante (Alicante-Elche-Valencia) are the areas that use these nasty fillers the least, with about five or seven a day.
Asturias once again stands out in the report by taking into account the places where it is spoken the worst. The data collected reveals that almost four out of 10 Spaniards say curse words when meeting friends, followed closely by those who say them at home and, in third place, while driving. Asturians stand out because they are the ones who use profanity the most wherever, anywhere. They do not have a particular site as in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which stands out in the survey because it is where they are used the most when meeting friends. Or in Barcelona, which is at work, or Palma, when driving.
The vast majority of Spaniards avoid using obscene language in front of children (68.54%), followed closely by those who prefer not to swear in front of their bosses (68.22%) and those who cut themselves off in front of older people. On the other hand, the main instigators of the use of profanity and curses have turned out to be friends, with Murcia and Orihuela being the places where they are used the most against them.
From the results of the study it can be deduced that men are more fond of resorting to profanity —an average of ten times a day compared to the eight used by women— and, also, the younger generations: Spaniards between the ages of 16 and 24 years say about 11.64 daily tacos; those of more than 55 years, about 4.25. The survey, in which 1,500 residents of 19 territories throughout Spain were interviewed, concludes that people talk worse when meeting friends, at home and behind the wheel.
