Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to rumors that “there is not much” for the club to spend on players this summer.
BBC presenter and commentator Darren Fletcher told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport that ‘people close to Liverpool’ have told him about little Jurgen Klopp he will have to spend when the window is reopened.
“Well listen, I don’t know, I don’t sit in the Liverpool boardroom,” Fletcher said. “But people close to the club tell me that there is not much money to spend on players. At the moment, the focus is on the redevelopment of the land.

Liverpool have not been a club, under the FSG, to spend wildly like their rivals, and they have proven to work wonders.
Andy Robertson is a good example, while the Etihad spent hundreds and hundreds of millions on full-backs, the Liverpool left-back only cost them £ 10 million (BBC Sport) and the other came through the academy.
But this season, after a season full of injuries, it is obvious that the team not only needs to increase its quality, but freshness is also required.
Also, some underperforming players with devastating injuries must keep going.
And most Liverpool fans are upset with the situation because they would like to see Klopp backed in a big way in the market.

To be fair, the FSG has made us the fourth richest club. So you can’t hit them too much. They are making LFC a business that is the sign of the times for football clubs.
